• Biography:

  I knew Larry Thomas Dodd when we were classmates in the Port Huron High School class of 1967. He was dating a vibrant and happy girl from our class, Sue Gentry. He was your typical high school kid, he loved his '65 Chevy Impala SS. Larry was just an all-around nice guy and Sue portrayed Larry as the sweetest guy on earth. John Clouse, a classmate, and fellow veteran described Larry as being the type of person that would become an insurance salesman.
  
  Larry was drafted and sent to Vietnam in December 1968 and served there until January 1970. According to Sue when he came home he was depressed and aloof. He would not seek help for his problems, known today as PTSD and health issues possibly linked to Agent Orange. Larry and Sue were married in 1970 and divorced a year later. On the day after Christmas 1985 at 2:00 am he took his own life.
